Board Member
Jennifer first joined the Savoyards for the 1997 production of The Yeomen of the Guard, after previous Gilbert and Sullivan experiences with Methuen Young People’s Theatre, North Shore Light Opera Company, and Valley Light Opera. Jen has been a member of the chorus for many years, performing more intermittently in the last 15 years since the arrival of her now teenage daughters. During her years on stage, Jen has served as Cast Manager and Internal Sales. She has also helped with costume and props construction for many productions. In years that Jen was not on stage, she has worked on makeup, ushered, and served as an Assistant House Manager.
As a member of the Board, Jen looks forward to dedicating more time and energy to the Sudbury Savoyards and their mission of artistic excellence, community, inclusivity, and opportunities to give back to the community. After a 29 year career teaching middle school and high school Latin, Jen brings to the Savoyards her skills in organization, communication, and multitasking. Jen is especially interested in supporting our traditions and policies around welcoming new members, encouraging retention of these new members for future years.
