Jeremy grew up singing Gilbert & Sullivan around the piano with the family, going to annual sing-throughs, and learning the Lord Chancellor’s nightmare song when only eleven. Your typical G&S upbringing.
He’s been onstage for 12 G&S productions, many with MIT Gilbert & Sullivan. Among others, as Ko-Ko, The Mikado, Sir Despard, the Sergeant of Police, the Duke of Plaza Toro (twice) and as a Pirate in Pirates (three times – “With cat-like tread” is just so much fun to sing). He also loves performing in all types of musicals, having acted in 36 musicals to date. Backstage, Jeremy has produced shows, run the light board, follow-spot, props, sound effects, and built many sets. For additional music fun, he sings Bass in a 9-person a cappella group.
Jeremy’s day job is testing software, specializing in testing in numerous languages. He worked for many years at TripAdvisor, where he had to ensure the website and apps worked in 25 different languages and 50 different countries.
Jeremy has previously been on the board of Needham Community Theatre and Savoyards of Boston.
