Board Member
Randy has served as a member of the Sudbury Savoyards Board of Directors since June of 2022, but he joined the Savoyards nine years earlier in 2013, as a tenor in the men’s chorus of “The Gondoliers”. Since then, he has been an active member of the Savoyards and has appeared in leading roles in “The Pirates of Penzance” (Samuel), “Patience” (Major Murgatroyd), “The Sorcerer” (Notary), “The Mikado” (Mikado), “Yeomen of the Guard”, (Sir Richard Cholmondeley), and “The Grand Duke” (the Herald).
Randy has also performed with other local theater groups, including the Sudbury Light Opera Company (Adrew Carnes in “Oklahoma!”) and the Greater Worcester Opera Company (the Mikado [cover] in “The Mikado”).
During his time with the Savoyards Randy has enjoyed the camaraderie of its members and has actively sought to help maintain the high ethical and production standards of our organization, which of course has included his time serving as a trustee of the Savoyards Board. After leaving the Board at this year’s end, Randy looks forward to continuing his affiliation with the Sudbury Savoyards for years to come.
